Hello, Dragon fans! The reward for those in attendance who braved the rain and then the heat was seeing FSDB come out of our rivalry game with a great win!

"Today was historic because it was a doubleheader with the JV game before our Varsity game.  We are not sure, but it is possible that it was the first-ever JV/V doubleheader between two Deaf schools," said Head Coach LeFors

The JV team played hard but was not able to secure the victory.  The varsity team made up for it by racing to a 20-0 halftime lead before wrapping it up 34-14.  The defense was the star of the game as they stifled them in the first half before giving up a touchdown on a short field. The other score came in the waning seconds when we had backups. 

Offensively, FSDB relied on big plays to keep drives alive and get in scoring positions.  The Dragons amassed nearly 300 yards on the ground and had a long touchdown pass in the 1st quarter, giving Alabama something to consider for the rest of the game. We are supposed to play at home this Thursday, 10/10, vs. First Coast Christian at 7 pm.  We will keep you posted if it happens.
