She served as the Captain of the FSD Cheerleading Team for three consecutive years, leading her team to championship victories during the annual Mason-Dixon Boys Tournaments from 1983 to 1985.
In 1984, she was crowned Homecoming Queen.
She was a member of the Dance Troupe from 1983 to 1985.
Graduated as the Class Valedictorian in 1985.
She earned the United States Cheerleader Achievement Award (National Award Winner)
Won the Robert Greenmun Memorial Award for Leadership, Citizenship, and Character in 1985.
She also participated in pageants, including the Miss Florida National Teenager Pageant, where she won titles for Miss Photogenic and Miss Congeniality.
Additionally, she earned recognition in the Miss Tampa TEEN Pageant for either Miss Congeniality or Miss Photogenic.
