Grace Minter

  • One of the best all-around female athletes at FSDB during the 1980s. 
  • She made 42 points in one game when she was a 8th grader.
  • Highest game points ever (40 points) while in high school in 1986.
  • Her team won the Mason-Dixon (MD) Girls BB Tournament championship in 1984.
  • During the 1986 Girls’ MD BB Tournament, she was named the player who made the highest points (51) during two games. 
  • Was recognized to win the All-Tournament BB awards during the Mason-Dixon Girls’ BB tournaments for 3 years in a row. (1986, 1987, 1988) and the MVP for the 1989 Girls’ Mason-Dixon Basketball Tournament.
  • Made over 1,500 points during her BB career at FSDB.
  • Won a Gold Medal for the Women’s BB team in the 1989 Deaflympics.
