Leadership

Basketball

  • Varsity Basketball Player (1979-1981).
  • He excelled on the court, being named an All-Tournament Basketball Player during the Mason-Dixon Boys Basketball Tournament in 1981.
  • Recorded the most blocks in a single game with 11 against the Kentucky School for the Deaf during the Mason-Dixon Boys Basketball Tournament in 1981.
  • Achieved the record for most rebounds in a single game with 29 in 1981.
  • He earned recognition for having the Best Field Goal Percentage in 1980.
  • Notably scored all 4 points in a closely contested basketball game against 3A St. Augustine High School, which ended with a score of 4-6.

Football

  • Played Quarterback from 1978 to 1980, amassing an impressive 1,016 passing yards, a record that still stands at FSDB for the 1980-1981 season.

Accolades

  • During the 1981 FSDB Athletic Banquet, he was awarded six trophies in recognition of his participation in varsity sports. To this day, he holds the record for receiving the highest number of trophies at the banquet.
