• Head coach for the Girls Basketball Team (1977-1979). Record 1977 (11-11), Record 1978 (12-7)
• In 1977, she was instrumental in urging other schools to support her idea to start the annual Girls Mason-Dixon Basketball tournament, which was eventually realized in 1978.  
• Her 1978 Girls Basketball Team was runner-up in the first annual Mason-Dixon Girls Basketball Tournament.
