Camy Lange

  • Her 1974 FSDB Girls Track Team was selected the National Champions by the Deaf American Magazine and the Northeast Florida Conference Title recognized by FHSAA.
  • Was actively involved in FSDB varsity sports such as Basketball, Volleyball, and Softball from 1970-1974.
  • Participated in the Deaflympics three times:
    • 3rd place in High Jump (1.56 m or 5 ft 1 in) in 1973 when she was junior at FSDB.
    • Her Volleyball Team won the 2nd place in 1977 while a student at Gallaudet
    • In 2001, her Handball team won the 2nd place while she was the math instructor at Gallaudet. 
  • Won numerous awards in Volleyball and Basketball at Gallaudet University.
  • Coached the Varsity Volleyball Team at Model Secondary School for the Deaf (MSSD) whose record was 44-1-1 in 1986. Won the Championship during the Eastern Schools for the Deaf Volleyball Tournament.
  • Was inducted into the Hall of Fame at Gallaudet University.
