Harold Green

Was called the “6th Man” on the 1964 FSDB Basketball Team that won the National Deaf Mythical Prep Basketball by The Deaf American Magazine.
MVP leading the FSDB Basketball Team to win the first-time Mason-Dixon Basketball Tournament Championship in 1968.
All-Star and Free Throw Champion during the Mason-Dixon Basketball Tournament in 1968.
Selected to be honored on the 1st basketball team for the St. Johns River Conference and for the Deaf All-American 1st Team in 1968.
After graduating from FSDB in 1968, he continued playing basketball for the Deaf Club. He was selected as an All-Star 16 times in the Southeast Athletic Association for the Deaf (SEAAD). He was the SEAAD all-time leading scorer with 1,200 points.
He was inducted in the SEAAD Hall of Fame in 1996.
He was on the United States Basketball Team that won the Gold Medal in the 1989 Deaflympics in New Zealand.

Played Quarterback and Free Safety for the FSDB Varsity Football Team in 1966 and 1967.
Selected to the St. Johns County All-Conference team in 1967 as a Free Safety.
