Basketball

  • His height measured at 6’3”, he was one of the  best varsity FSDB Basketball centers during the 1960s. 
  • 1966 - Most Improved BB Player
  • 1967 - 2nd place in the Mason-Dixon Boys Tournament; 1st place in the District; and 2nd place in Regional.
  • His team won the National Deaf Prep Mythical Championship (20 wins and 3 losses) by the NAD Deaf All-American magazine. 
  • 1968 - Championship in the Mason-Dixon Boys Tournament. He led all scores with 20.4 points average per game during the tourney. He was selected to be on the 1st team All-Star. He helped FSDB win the MD championship for the first time in the FSDB history at that time. 
  • 1967-1968 - He was on the 1st team for the All-St. Johns River Conference and 1st team for the All-Regional. He was on the 2nd team for the NAD All-American by the Deaf American Magazine.

Track & Field

  • 1968 - First place in Long Jump at 20’6” in the District and Regional meets. 4th place in the FHSAA State track and field meet.
