• Norman Oja demonstrated unwavering devotion to the FSDB students by leading them on countless hiking adventures along various trails and taking them to different springs for canoeing. His commitment to providing these enriching outdoor experiences contributed significantly to the students' engagement with nature and personal growth.
• He had a strong belief in preserving nature. He once organized an effort to collect aluminum cans, successfully raising $100.50 through recycling. This initiative involved gathering 402 bags of cans, each valued at 25 cents, showcasing his commitment to environmental stewardship and community involvement.
