Thomas Krohn

Football

  • Played varsity football quarterback for 2 years and was selected as a co-MVP in 1978.

Basketball

  • He was recognized on The Frat’s All-American Basketball Team for 1978-1979 when he was senior.
  • His team was ranked 10th in the Class “A” at the end of the season. 
  • Played varsity basketball shooting guard for 2 years (1978 & 1979).
  • Senior - MVP and Best free throw percentage and Deaf All-American.
  • His team won the Boys’ Mason-Dixon championship in 1979 in which he was selected All-Tournament Team. 

Tennis

  • Played on FSDB newly established varsity tennis team that won the best sportsmanship award in 1979.

Accolades

  • At Gallaudet University, he played 4 years in tennis and was MVP in 1982. 
  • While at Gallaudet, he quarterbacked his intramural flag football team that won the championship with a perfect record.
  • He was on the Gallaudet varsity football team for one season. 
  • Robert Greenmum Memorial Award for the top man for Citizenship, Scholarship and Character in 1979.
