• Won 2nd place in Mile Run at 4:40 (4 minutes, 40 seconds) in the State Track Championship in 1964.
• He had been undefeated in all Mile-run events in 1963.
• His best time in the Mile Run was 4:38.7 (4 minutes, 38.7 seconds).
• 440 Yd Dash: 52.7 seconds in 1965.
• 880 Yd Dash: 2:02 (2 minutes,  2 seconds) in 1962.
• Mile Relay: 3:40 (3 minutes, 40 seconds) in 1964.
• Sprint Medley: 2:04 (2 minutes, 4 seconds) in 1965.

Basketball

• He was one of the top rebounders and defensive players.
• His team won the tournament beating first-, second-, and third-seeded teams in the tournament at Georgia School for the Deaf in 1965.
